Yesterday we thanked Malc from the Snooty Fox. Today is our turn to return the favour.
Many of you will be aware that Evile’s bassist, Mike Alexander, passed away on October 5th, at 32 years old. Evile was touring Sweden with Amon Amarth and had just released their new album ‘Infected Nations’, their follow up to critically acclaimed debut ‘Enter the Grave’. Mike died from a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot on the lungs.

Loathe had played with Evile once, at the Black Winters Day festival in Bradford, and I had chatted with him about the thrash metal revival that was then in full swing. He seemed like a modest and unassuming bloke, and almost shy. In any case, 32 is a terrible age to die at.
Tomorrow, the 7th of November, Malc and the Snooty Fox shall be hosting an all day event in memory of Mike, and also to raise funds for the family and daughter he left behind. This noble event includes 10 bands, all of whom are donating their time to raise a bit of cash for a family in dire straits.
YOU TOO can help by at least watching the event being streamed live below. Loathe had 250 people watching their set on our Dark Design tour, and that was just for our ugly selves. This is for a real and actual cause. Be nice, help out. If you feel you can help even further, contact Malc himself here: malc@snootyfoxlive.com
